Attachment at amk hospital was a wonderfully awesome experience. even though morning shift was a crazy hectic trip just to reach there on time. i had to take approx. 4 buses to reach there 10 mins before 7. phew. thank good i wasnt late for any shifts. and because we had to sahur and all that, i noe, i wont leave home hungry and feel hypo at work. and morning, we werent treated as an extra pair of hands as compared to acute hospital. we got the chance to follow doctors round and realli follow up with changes.
WARD 3.(absolute Awesome pPl THere)
the 1st try of taking cases was scary, alot of hiccups, and the staffs were willing to guide us. mind u. there were not locals. thats the best part. i think before this i had a lil stereotype abt them. but this posting made me open my eyes. they were good to us. reaali good in fact.
doing dressing for patients was rusty for me. in fact. it has been more then 6 months since ive held to palstic forceps. (BUDGET LAH). and i had help from the c.I. phew!
and breaking fast with Kat, Sharezan and Afiqah was great. till now i think the tea room still stink because of the microwave oven. we had great laughter. and our picnic time. to having cup noodles (TOM YUM flavour) DAY. lol. gossipps keep it to ourselves ya. winks!
i came to this posting fearing of the unknown as no group15 peeps was having posting with me. i left the place knowing friendly ppl. reaalli had fun workin with Chia Li and Afiqah. entertainin our GODMAs. for the nitty grity to Comode-ing them to the toilet. translating hokkien to malay and pasting the yellow plastic bags at their cot side.making milo with ensure. taking hot water for them. telling tales abt patient realtives and full of nonsense patients.
passing time was a breeze with our favourite stafffnurse. (winks Winks).
oh my i miss them alrdy.
Chia Li AND my LAst day there (wed). we R Off TO HSE!
i miss them lah. 2 week break till i see chia li and afiqah at CGH. WOO hooo!!!
i wont be lost anymore!
